Meanwhile there are a few MongoDb steps available and I just give you a short overview of how to store data in MongoDb and then retrieve it again.
So this is what my data flow looks like. I have added a MongoDb insert step to the canvas, between the Random Data step and the Dummy step.
The MongoDb Insert step is straight foward. Specify the connection, the database and the collection where the data should go. The 'Document dropdown allows to select what is sent to MongoDb. In this case I selected 'person' which is my object that contains the generated data.
Run the flow and check the output to the Dummy step.
Besides these two steps I covered, there are also steps for deleting data, sending arbitary commands and for aggregating data.
